Mengenal Tandok
Tandok adalah alat hantaran atau wadah yang terbuat dari anyaman bayon (pandan). Bagi orang Batak, tandok sangatlah penting dan digunakan saat upacara adat dan seremonial lainnya. Pada umumnya wadah ini untuk tempat beras/ padi yang dihantar/ dijungjung sebagai persembahan. Pada umumnya kaum ibulah yang mengusung tandok disemua acara adat dan seremonial lainnya. Selain tempat beras/ padi, juga digunakan untuk tempat nasi biasanya suku Karo disebut Sumpit. Ukurannya sangat bervariasi dari sekitar 30 cm, 1 meter sampai 3 meter, yang disebut juga tandok raksasa.
