Awal mula dari sakit Bapak Mika Sinambela itu berasal dari adanya benjolan di bawah leher sebesar biji salak, dan dibarengi seringnya beliau mengalami sakit gigi yg berkepanjangan dan tidak pernah sembuh, sehingga mengakibatkan beliau terus merasa kesakitan. Beliau hanyalah seorang supir di sebuah perusahaan yang ada di Duri-Riau, dan saat ini bapak Mika tidak bisa lagi menghidupi keluarganya karena sakit yang dia derita. (more…)

Yayasan The Children of Sumatra tahun ini kembali mengadakan aksi sosial nya dengan mengadakan Operasi Bibir Sumbing (Cleft Lip and Palate) secara GRATIS . Kegiatan ini sudah di awali sejak awal tahun 2004 yang di rintis oleh Mr. Moh. Ali dan Miss Katie Pavett di propinsi Aceh tepat nya Pulau Weh. Sudah puluhan anak-anak Sumatra yang terlahir dengan cacat bibir telah berhasil di operasi dengan sukses oleh tim medis yang profesional. Gobatak Peduli – Mari ulurkan tangan membantu saudara-saudara kita pasca gempa Tapanuli Utara beberapa hari lalu. Dari informasi koresponden Gobatak.com : Kerusakan terparah rumah penduduk, terjadi di Dusun Gultom, Desa Nahornop, Kecamatan Pahae Jae. Lintong Ni Huta, Setibanya perwakilan team gobatak.com (8/6) melayat ke rumah duka langsung bertemu dengan Lae Pakpahan suami dari ibu Rohana br Sihombing. Yang pada saat itu seluruh keluarga besar hanya menunggu kedatangan Rohana br Sihombing dari Jakarta. Sekitar pukul 03.00 wib subuh barulah semua berkumpul bersama dengan keluarga besar, Rohana br Sihombing langsung melihat ibunda tercinta. (more…)

Kabanjahe (11/09) – 14 Villages up 3632 people were shelters Jambur Adil Makmur. Consists of children and parents together. Desa Jeraya Beras Tepu, Gamber, Sirumbia, Ujung Payung, Cimbang, Sukandebi, Selaudi, Payung, Maman, Beganding, Torong, Tiga Serangkai, Kuta Tengah.

Kabanjahe (11/09), gobatak Peduli today have been handed over assistance to victims Sinabung refugees. The assistance was handed over to refugees in Poskoh Taman Doa Et Labora Simpang Aji Jahe / Simpang Kaban. This aid comes from donations from supporters gathered Gobatak during the two weeks. Assistance is provided in the form of medicines, milk for children, and food amounting total Rp. 1,000,000. (more…)

Pematangsiantar (7 / 9), today is a schedule of defects cleft lip surgery in a Harapan hospital Pematangsiantar. Three patients scheduled for cleft lip surgery is a patient named Mario was 8 months, patients aged 12 years Luminda Butarbutar, and patients Afrozi 3.5 years. To this day Afrozi patients delayed surgery because of coughing. The doctors to delay surgery until the patient’s Afrozi conditions healthy again.
At the opportunity this time, gobatak cannot see directly in the operation to patients due to any reason. However, our visit to these social activities more or less we know what is necessary to help people in need.
Patients Luminda Butarbutar.
Luminda Butarbutar origin Pardagangan, already three times care surgery. This third operation is the stage of completion of the operation of cleft lip and cleft palate. Luminda Butarbutar accompanied by his parents came from poor families seemed pleased and happy. Although currently Luminda Butarbutar not able to speak perfect, just out of surgery. Boru Purba Her mother is grateful for the assistance organized by the Foundation of The Children of Sumatra. Luminda Butarbutar who sit second grade junior high schools will soon be back with perfect situation. Hopefully a speedy recovery for Luminda Butarbutar.
Mario Ujung Karo.
This is the full name of patients aged 8 months. Very tragic for Mario, when Mario surgery is not accompanied by both parents. According to information from the Hospital Harapan Jaya, Mario was found on a street in Ujung Tanah Karo in a box of instant noodle. Parental Mario somehow bear to throw away so his son in a state of cleft lip defect. For Mario this is his first operation. Mario is currently being handled entirely by the party’s Hospital Harapan Jaya, and nurtured by Rotua Frisca Simbolon one of the nurses at the hospital Harapan Jaya. Hopefully, Mario grew up and received care from people who loved him. Hopefully Mario a speedy recovery.
